Sundance’s dam won the National Most Valuable Fleece twice – 2004 and 2005. His grand dam, B.L. Sollinca also won it in 2001 as well as Chamption Fleece at Royal Melbourne 2001. Sollinca’s sire, Windsong Valley Royal Inca, won the Champion Fleece at the National Melbourne in 1998. We have his bloodlines within our herd so we are able to pass him on. Although we are very pleased with the crias he puts on the ground, he does, unfortunately, have a fawn spot and would definitely suit a coloured breeder.

2009 – Warrnambool 2nd Junior Male White
Sundowner’s dam won the National Most Valuable Fleece twice – 2004 and 2005. His grand dam, B.L. Sollinca also won it in 2001 as well as Chamption Fleece at Royal Melbourne 2001. Sollinca’s sire, Windsong Valley Royal Inca, won the Champion Fleece at the National Melbourne in 1998. His fleece has a fine crimp and with his bloodlines, should make fine crias like his well-known sire, W.V. Iceman. We would like to keep him also, but regrettably we have too many males for our small, elite herd of fine, white females.

Transfer of Certificates: The Vendors will pay all transfer fees for alpacas sold for $1,000 or more. Transfer fees for alpacas sold for less than $1,000 must be born by the purchaser. The vendors will not sign transfer of ownership certificates for entire male alpacas sold for less than $1,000. All alpacas are registered with the AAA.
Blackgate Lodge and it's agisted studs, Merrak & Mystique, are now all Q-ALPACA No. 05/0114, thus our status is equivalent to MN-1 under the Commonwealth Market Assurance Program. Most of our alpacas are in the A.G.E program.
Rainbows End Alpaca Stud is NON-ASSESSED.

At big roadside sign "Blackgate Lodge Alpaca Stud 3", turn right into Blackgate Road for 3 km. 1395 Blackgate Road (Blackgate Lodge) is on the left.
